Beiwe's dream, the movie

A claim for sanity!

In 2014 Inma, a Cádiz girl convinces her father to make an expedition to the Arctic to investigate the effects of climate change in the most affected area in the world, and find and interview the Sami people, indigenous reindeer herders to learn their vision of the problem.

After 1000 km in 10 stages in an environment of survival through all kinds of frozen Arctic landscapes, tucked behind reindeer herds and northern lights, they achieve the mission reaching the North Cape, the northernmost point of Europe.
They have crossed three countries, Finland, Sweden and Norway, through ice oceans of inconceivable beauty. But most important is what Sami in their ancestral wisdom ask them. A message must be conveyed to the Western man, a message that will change the life of the father and the daughter forever.

Beiwe's dream, a claim for sanity is a documentary based on this emotional true story, this adventure into the heart of Earth. A "road movie" of learning and resilience spirit. An inspirational film which brings us to the ancient and evocative SAMI people wisdom and their relationship of respect with planet earth.
